"Harry's improv is proof that age is a state of mind and fun is ageless!"
"Projects like your amazing improv performance with your pals from the improv troupe, not only entertained us thoroughly -- turning us into a passel of helpless giggling goof balls -- but even more important, we all realized how life affirming laughter is when it is created by a group of friends who care deeply for each other."
"I just wanted to thank you for setting up this show with the library. It was fun and funny and I laughed and laughed! I don’t recall ever meeting such a generous group of people. Generous with us for coming to perform, generous with each other in terms of trust and support, and generous with our patrons for including them in the show. I applaud you all for what you do, and how very well you do it! Thanks, again."
"Harry and I started taking improv classes around the same time. I must confess that one of the reasons I kept going is because of Harry. His enthusiasm for learning improv despite his age and illness inspired me....When Harry invited me to his new group, I accepted without hesitation. I believe that the beauty of improv is that it provides a safe, non-judgmental environment to fail and learn from mistakes, which is so rare in the real world. But the improv skills I learned have gone beyond the stage. This is what I have learned from improv: 1) don’t take yourself too seriously; 2) be patient with yourself; 3) it’s okay if you have nothing to say; 4) your best ideas come when you trust yourself and stay in the moment; 5) having fun is better than being right; 6) accept other people’s points of view with “yes, and…” instead of “no, but…”. This makes resolving conflicts effortless!"
